      We had a fantastic day trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud Falls with Moha. He was an excellent guide who made the long drive feel short with his friendly conversations and insights about Moroccan culture.     How far are Ouzoud falls from Marrakech?

    The falls are 160 km (100 miles) away from Marrakech, and the drive takes about 2.5 to three hours each way.

    What time does the tour start and end?

    The tour begins between 8am and concludes at around 6:30pm (traffic dependent and time spent at the falls).

    Is the road to Ouzoud safe and comfortable?

    Yes, the road is well tarred and our professional drivers make it very safe.

    What should I pack for this trip?

    Good walking shoes and sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) Warm months see light clothing. Wear a jacket if it’s cooler than May.

    How hard is the hike to the falls?

    It’s a moderate walk with some irregular steps, but it shouldn’t be challenging to most people in reasonable shape. If desired, local guides can help.

    Do I get to see the monkeys at the waterfalls?

    Yes! The Barbary macaques (monkeys) are often visible near the falls and friendly, but don’t feed them.
