⇒ Day 1:Marrakech ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Dades Valley ➝ Merzouga Desert (Approx. 9–10 hours of driving with stops)

On the first day of your Marrakech to Merzouga tour 2 days. We will start pick you up from your host in Marrakech and journey through the Sahara Desert. The road will lead us to the stunning High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260m) with panoramas and impressive landscape views along the way as well as local Berber villages perched on hillsides. We will pass through the majestic Kasbah Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous setting in movies such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, the Mummy, the Odessey and lot more.

After a guided visit in Ait ben Haddou Kasbah, we continue onwards to Ouarzazate, the so-called “Hollywood of Africa”, afterwards, we move among stunning landscapes of Draa Valley. Upon arrival Merzouga desert. Swap the car for a camel and go on a journey through the dunes of Erg Chebbi to catch an unbelievable desert sunset, enjoy a wonderful night in a luxury camp including Berber dinner and music around the fire.

⇒ Day 2: Merzouga ➝ Marrakech (~560 km / 9–10 hours)

Rise early to watch a spectacular desert sunrise its first golden rays in the dunes are a memory you will not forget. After breakfast in the camp, ride the camel or 4WD back to Merzouga village, where your driver will be waiting to transfer you back to Marrakech. The return journey starts by traversing the Ziz Valley, where abundant oasis makes it famous for its endless date-palm groves and fortified kasbahs. There will be loads of photo stops, leg-stretching opportunities and tiny little towns to stop off for a coffee along the way.

By lunch, we reach Ouarzazate where we stop for a visit to the movie studio. From there we cross again the High Atlas Mountains and drive through the twisting turns of Tizi n’Tichka Pass. It ends with a final few hours of heading to Marrakech, some short photo stops at mountain viewpoints for panoramic views and wraps it up all with some fresh mountain air. We will arrive back to Marrakech in the early evening (around 7-8 PM) and we will drop you off at your accommodation concluding your Marrakech to Merzouga tour 2 Days.
