Welcome to Fes! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your riad or hotel. Spend the day wandering through Fes’s ancient medina a UNESCO World Heritage site and the cultural heart of Morocco. Explore its narrow alleys, traditional artisan workshops, stunning madrasas, and vibrant souks. Immerse yourself in the rich history and breathtaking architecture of one of Morocco’s most remarkable cities.

• Overnight: Fes (Riad)

Leave Fes early and cross the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Little Switzerland” of Morocco, with its alpine-style architecture and clean streets. Then head to Azrou to visit the amazing cedar forest and see the Barbary apes in their natural habitat. Continue through the stunning Ziz Valley, descending into a lush valley filled with palm trees and traditional villages, before reaching Merzouga on the edge of the golden Sahara dunes. In the late afternoon, embark on a lifetime camel trek to your desert camp, where you’ll spend a magical night under the stars.

Rise early to catch the sunrise over the dunes before camel trekking back to Merzouga. Visit the nearby village of Rissani with its lively souk, then continue to the impressive Todgha Gorges, where towering cliffs rise above a flowing river. Next, head to the beautiful Dades Valley, known for its rugged landscapes and historic kasbahs, where you will spend the night.

After breakfast, drive toward Ouarzazate through the Dades and Roses Valleys, known for their stunning landscapes and rich history. Ouarzazate, often called the “City of Cinema,” offers an optional visit to its famous film studios. Then explore the ancient ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site featured in many classic movies. Continue your journey across the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, arriving in Marrakech in time to experience the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

After soaking up the exotic vibes of Marrakech, head north to Casablanca, Morocco’s bustling economic hub. Start the morning with a visit to the impressive seaside Hassan II Mosque (outside) a perfect spot for photos. Then continue by road to the capital city, Rabat, where you can explore the Royal Palace, Oudayas Kasbah, and the iconic Hassan Tower. Overnight stay in Rabat.

This morning, we leave Rabat and journey into the Rif Mountains to the enchanting Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-painted streets winding down ancient stairways. Take a leisurely walking tour of the medina, explore local markets, and soak in the stunning mountain views. With its perfect blend of nature and culture, this charming town is an ideal place to visit with your partner!

Later, explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its beautiful mosaics and historical relics. Then visit charming Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, with its grand gates and bustling medina. In the evening, continue on to your final destination, Fes, where you can enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner at a local restaurant.
