7 day Morocco tour from Rabat

After breakfast, your private driver will pick you up at your hotel in Rabat. Travel north through the stunning Rif Mountains, stopping along the way for photos if you wish. Arrive in Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous “Blue Pearl,” in the afternoon and check in to your riad, located in the heart of the medina. In the evening, stroll through the charming blue-painted alleyways, explore local markets, and enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal at a nearby café. Overnight stay is at Riad Hicham, where a delicious breakfast will be served the following morning.

After breakfast, leave Chefchaouen and head toward Fes. Stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Volubilis to admire its ancient mosaics, temples, and ruins. Before lunch, visit Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, where you can see Bab Mansour, the Royal Granaries, and explore the medina. Continue your drive through the beautiful countryside to Fes, and check in at your riad for the night. Enjoy a delicious breakfast the next morning. The evening is free for you to relax or take a leisurely walk through the fascinating streets of the old medina.

Your private local guide will pick you up from your riad for a full-day tour of Fes, Morocco’s cultural capital. Visit the Royal Palace gates, traditional pottery workshops, and Borj Sud for panoramic views of the city. Explore Al Quaraouiyine University, the tanneries, bustling souks, and artisan workshops within the winding medina. Learn about Morocco’s rich history, culture, and craftsmanship from your knowledgeable guide. After an immersive day, your driver will return you to your riad. After breakfast, leave Fes and travel into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, a town with European-style architecture, and take photos with the famous stone lion. Continue to the cedar forests of Azrou to see wild monkeys in their natural habitat. After lunch in Midelt, drive through the scenic Ziz Valley, lined with lush palm groves, until you reach Merzouga on the edge of the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi as the sun sets. Arrive at your luxury desert camp, enjoy dinner under the stars, and listen to traditional Berber music around the campfire.

If you want to catch the sunrise over the dunes, you’ll need to wake up early. Afterward, enjoy breakfast at the camp, then return to the village by camel or 4×4. You will spend the day exploring the Sahara region, including a visit to the village of Khamlia to listen to local musicians play traditional Gnawa music, see vast desert landscapes and fossil sites, and visit a nomadic family to experience life in their tents.

Later, you we transfer you to a charming hotel in Merzouga, where you can relax by the pool or take another stroll on the dunes to enjoy a peaceful sunset. Dinner is served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

Leave after breakfast from the dunes of Merzouga and stop in Rissani, a traditional market known for its spices, handicrafts, and unique desert culture. Then head to the breathtaking Todgha Gorges, where towering cliffs rise dramatically, creating an awe-inspiring landscape. Continue to the Dades Valley, passing through lush palm oases and Berber horse breeding areas. Visit the kasbahs in Skoura, then take a detour through the Rose Valley before arriving in Boumalne Dades for your overnight stay in a charming hotel overlooking the stunning Dades Valley.

After breakfast, leave behind the beautiful town of Dades and drive through the Valley of Roses, where local cooperatives make rose water and beauty items. After that, set off again to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

This ancient fortified ksar has been featuredin many movies. After seeing the kasbah, drive over the High Atlas Mountains and pass the Tizi n’Tichka an elevation of 2260 meters above sea level.
