Upon your arrival in Fes, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your accommodation. After settling in, enjoy a guided city tour (approximately 3 hours) of Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest Imperial Cities. Wander through the UNESCO-listed medina, navigating its narrow alleys filled with vibrant souks, ancient madrasas, and artisan workshops. Highlights include the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the bustling tanneries. ⇒ Day 2:Fes ➝ Ifrane ➝ Azrou ➝ Midelt ➝ Ziz Valley ➝ Merzouga ➝ Camel Trek (Approx. 470 km / 8-9 hours)

We leave Fes early in the morning and journey through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing the alpine village of Ifrane, often called “Little Switzerland” for its European-style architecture. Next, we drive to Azrou, famous for its cedar forest and playful Barbary apes. Continue to the scenic Ziz Valley, known for its lush palm groves and historic kasbahs.

This V-shaped valley forms a natural route through the rugged northern Moroccan landscape. In the late afternoon, arrive at Merzouga and prepare for a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, reaching your desert camp just before nightfall. Spend the night in a traditional Berber camp under a star-filled sky, accompanied by local music and warm hospitality.

After breakfast, enjoy another stunning desert sunrise before riding camels back to the village of Merzouga. Explore the surrounding desert areas, visiting nomadic villages to gain insight into the traditional lifestyle of Saharan tribes. Stop in the village of Khamlia, renowned for its vibrant Gnawa music and warm hospitality. Later, relax and soak in the peaceful desert atmosphere during an overnight stay at a comfortable hotel in Merzouga.

⇒ Day 4: Merzouga ➝ Rissani ➝ Todgha Gorges ➝ Dades Valley (Approx. 270 km / 4-5 hours)

After breakfast, leave for the nearby town of Rissani, an old market city also known as the gateway to Sahara. Drive to the dramatic Todra Gorges, a series of limestone river canyons on the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains known for hiking and photography. From there we will go to one of the most scenic routes in Morocco are The Dades Valley crossing many palm groves and bonus to lean about rocks called fingers of monkeys. Tonight sleep in a peaceful valley hotel.

⇒ Day 5: Dades Valley ➝ Roses Valley ➝ Ouarzazate ➝ Ait Ben Haddou ➝ Marrakech (Approx. 330 km / 6-7 hours)

Leave the Dades Valley and drive through the fragrant Roses Valley and the lush Skoura Palm Grove. Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” due to its film studios, awaits you next. Visit the grand Taourirt Kasbah before continuing to the famous UNESCO World Heritage site of Aït Ben Haddou an iconic ancient ksar featured in many films and TV shows. After a scenic drive over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, you’ll arrive in Marrakech by evening, where you can relax at your hotel.
