Arrival in Merzouga – Camel Trek Begins
Meet your local guide and prepare for the experience ahead in the village of Merzouga in the late afternoon. After a short time and some time to pack your things for the night, mount your camel and leave for the camp along the following way into the sand dunes and the immense of Erg Chebbi dunes. It is a 1.5-2 hours trip and you can fully enjoy the peace of the desert and see the sand’s color-changing while the sun is setting.
Sunset Views & Arrival at the Luxury Desert Camp
As you ride further into the dunes, the landscape opens up to a stunning, unspoiled vista. You’ll pause along the way to watch the sun set, which is an absolutely magical experience with the sky turning into hues of orange, red and crimson. When you arrive at your luxury desert camp, you’ll be greeted with traditional Moroccan mint tea and warm hospitality. Sunrise Camel Ride & Return to Merzouga
The following morning, you would be woken up peacefully before sunrise to those stunning dunes sunrise. After a light breakfast in the camp, you will return back to Merzouga on the back of the camels again experiencing the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival the drop off point, you will be transferred by 4WD to where you have left your car either in an auberge or Hotel or Riad, End of your Desert activity.
